FAST

Definition

Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV. A streaming model that combines free, ad-supported content with a linear channel guide similar to traditional broadcast TV. Pluto TV and Xumo Play are examples. FAST channels often program content into themed channels rather than offering on-demand browsing.

Example

Pluto TV might program your horror film into a 'Late Night Horror' channel that runs on a schedule, generating ad revenue each time it airs.
