DCP
Definition
Digital Cinema Package. A collection of digital files used to distribute and screen films in theaters. A DCP contains the video, audio, subtitles, and metadata in a specific format that cinema servers can read. If your film has a theatrical release, you will need a DCP as a deliverable.
Example
A 90-minute feature film DCP typically ranges from 100GB to 200GB in size and is delivered on a specialized hard drive.
