Discoverability

Definition

How easily audiences can find your film on a streaming platform or through search. Discoverability is influenced by metadata quality, platform recommendation algorithms, genre tags, and external marketing. Films with poor discoverability may be available on a platform but rarely seen because they do not appear in search results or recommendation rows.

Example

A film with accurate genre tags, a strong synopsis, and good viewer ratings is more likely to appear in Tubi's 'Recommended for You' row than one with incomplete metadata.
