Ad Creative

Definition

The visual and text elements used in an advertising campaign. For film marketing, ad creative typically includes poster images, trailer clips, still images, and written copy. Testing multiple creative variations helps you identify which visuals and messages drive the most clicks. Creative fatigue sets in after 5 to 7 days, so regular refreshes are important.

Example

You might test three ad variations: one using your poster, one using a still image of the lead actor, and one using a 15-second trailer clip, each with different copy.
