Retargeting

Definition

An advertising strategy that shows ads to people who have already visited your smart link or website but did not click through to a streaming platform. Retargeting is highly effective because it reaches people who have already shown interest. Most platforms allow you to create retargeting audiences from pixel data.

Example

A viewer clicks your Facebook ad, lands on your smart link, but leaves without clicking a platform. The next day, they see a different ad for your film on Instagram with a 'Watch Now' message.
