Definition
A database of email addresses collected from people interested in your film. An email list is one of the most valuable marketing assets because, unlike social media followers, you own the relationship and are not subject to algorithm changes. Email lists are used for launch announcements, screening invitations, and ongoing audience engagement.
Example
During pre-production, you add an email capture form to your smart link and collect 2,000 addresses. On release day, you email all 2,000 subscribers with a 'Watch Now' link, driving immediate traffic.
