Social Proof

Definition

Evidence that other people have watched, enjoyed, or endorsed your film. Social proof includes festival laurels, audience reviews, critic quotes, award badges, view counts, and social media mentions. Displaying social proof on your smart link or ads increases trust and conversion rates. People are more likely to watch a film that others have already validated.

Example

Your smart link displays 'SXSW Audience Award Winner' and a 4.5-star average rating from 200 Tubi reviews, making new visitors more confident in clicking play.
