Call to Action

Definition

A prompt that tells viewers what to do next after seeing your marketing content. In film marketing, a call to action (CTA) might be 'Watch Now,' 'Rent on Apple TV,' 'Pre-order Tickets,' or 'Join the Email List.' Every smart link, ad, social post, and email should have a clear CTA. Vague CTAs like 'Learn More' perform worse than specific ones like 'Watch on Tubi for Free.'

Example

Your Facebook ad shows the trailer and ends with 'Watch Free on Tubi' as a button, linking directly to your Filmcane smart link where viewers can click through to Tubi.
