Geotargeting
Definition
An advertising feature that limits ad delivery to users in specific geographic locations. Geotargeting is useful for films with regional availability or for concentrating marketing spend where your audience is most concentrated. You can target by country, state, city, or even a radius around a zip code. Most ad platforms offer geotargeting at no additional cost.
Example
Your film is only available in the US and UK. You geotarget your Facebook ads to those two countries, avoiding wasted spend on clicks from viewers who cannot access the film on their local platforms.
